Oh wait.....you just said it...
Frankly no government dept is safe from President Trump. After all, he promised to "drain the swamp."

But then that is why so many voted for him.

To imagine a public figure actually keeping campaign promise must just be too much for some.

He already broke that promise. He just changed to bigger alligators

People can be wrong. Besides more voted the other way.

What campaign promise. To mismanage things?

A lot of people have defended the Lynch nomination, for example, by saying, "He appoints somebody who's going to execute his views, what's wrong with that?" But if the views the President wants to execute are unlawful should the Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General say "no"?

Yates: Senator, I believe that the Attorney General or the Deputy Attorney General has an obligation to follow the law and the constitution - and to give their independent legal advice to the President.

It's nice to remember a time when this is how appointed officials spoke, instead of dancing around ten straight questions before finally obliquely admitting that you won't uphold some basic expectation of the office, like ensure that disabled children will be allowed into schools or some ****.

I think all AG nominees are asked that question. Elliott Richardson was famous for saying no to the President that appointed him.

Except that in this case, President Trump did not ask for something improper. Or illegal.

His EO was Constitutionally correct
It was within the power of the Executive office.
There is a clear and frequent precedence

And virtually all of the last 7 Presidents have used this authority in this way.

The AG has no legal right to disobey, or fail to enforce, a legal order from the President. We are all freemen. They are welcome to stand on THEIR own personal principles at risk of being dismissed.

Emotions are important but;
Facts matter.

And all of them were probably Obama appointee's

Muslims and what we do with them are a very large part of why Trump is the President.

The majority of the American people do not want more of them here, until we can find a way to vet them.

Go ahead and chastise the American people, just as the Democrats have done for what, several years now? Btw how is that working for you? The gig is up, finished. America has woken up to what the left wants to do with OUR country..

Regards, Kirk

Judges are human and often political. Besides, the Judges have not disagreed with what I said, they have disagreed with a part of the EO,,,; detention without due process. A dubiously legitimate question, so it gets a stay order, not a judgement. You do understand the difference?

So I'm not concerned about that at all.

I found one can locate a judge to do about anything. Ever hear of the Ninth District. Most of their controversial rulings are appealed and overturned.

So far Trump's actions do not merit that.
