Federal appeals court: Ohio's removal of voters violates law - CNNPolitics.com

I just can't understand people trying to justify denying citizens the right to vote.

Quote:
(CNN)A federal appeals court ruled Friday that Ohio's method of removing names from its voter rolls violates federal law, and sent the case back to the district court for a remedy.

Quote:
The appeals court said that Ohio's so-called "Supplemental Process," where "a voter is purged from the rolls after six years of inactivity -- even if he or she did not move and otherwise remains eligible to vote," is in violation of the NVRA.
You better bolieve it, Baby.

It's not simply the removal of names...

It's the METHOD used for the removal of names...

“The constitutional rights, powers, and privileges of establishing voter qualifications, including voter registration requirements, are incidents of state sovereignty protected by Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution, the Tenth Amendment, and the Seventeenth Amendment. This power includes the power to obtain information the states deem necessary to assess eligibility or voter registration applicants, and to enforce voter qualifications. A mere oath without concrete evidence of citizenship…does not suffice.”
Constitution Check: Who decides who gets to vote?

This is how far we have strayed from the Constitution. Courts today are willingly denying states rights when it comes to who is eligible to vote. To most liberal jurists and lawmakers the Constitution is nothing more than toilet paper.
