First off, looking at another article, the NY Post is guilty of some seriously shady journalism...
It reminded her of something her husband, Martin D. Ginsburg, a prominent tax lawyer who died in 2010, would have said.

“‘Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,’” Justice Ginsburg said, smiling ruefully.

She's repeating her dead husband's comment. Not giving her own future promise.

Looking at the above, I would agree...

She was not joking, and many law scholars are questioning her judgement.

So you have one celeb, who I don't listen to, nor have I listened to him since 2000 and 37 nobodies.

She was not serious ...

READ the above.
She was referencing a dead husband's comment. Not saying this is what she would do.
The original article makes this clear.

And considering this thread was started on a lie, that's compared to zero on your side...

Even your article admits she was simply quoting her ex-husband.
Ginsburg also recalled something her late husband said about such matters: "Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand."

Read the link I posted next. Doesn't matter if she was joking she went to far and law scholars are calling her on it.

Bingo!

Thanks for the link

Yes, the SCOTUS is supposed to stay securely founded and well clear of the political winds and the fray

I'm MUCH more disturbed by what Ginsburg said in the interview later on...

It's bad that Scalia died, but it could've been WORSE HAD HE LIVED...

Quote:
A second deadlock, in United States v. Texas, left in place a nationwide injunction blocking Mr. Obama’s plan to spare more than four million unauthorized immigrants from deportation and allow them to work. That was unfortunate, Justice Ginsburg said, but it could have been worse.

“Think what would have happened had Justice Scalia remained with us,” she said. Instead of a single sentence announcing the tie, she suggested, a five-justice majority would have issued a precedent-setting decision dealing a lasting setback to Mr. Obama and the immigrants he had tried to protect.

Nice try at trying to trivialize Ginsberg's admission of political bias. Of course the bold faced admission of partisanship by a supposedly apolitical SCOTUS justice has to be treated as akin to her expressing a preference of ice cream flavor. Despite her long history of doctrinaire Left wing activism under the guise of Constitutional "interpretation" conjuring up new rights her threat to abandon the country if the Republican wins like so many other radical Leftists have is completely unrelated to her judicial activism.

Give me a damn break, Justice Ginsburg bias really that's news to you, here some news for you they are all bias. They all hold a certain political view that will come in to their decisions. They are human, human are bias as all hell, and its delusional to some how think that the justices are going to some how be above that, when that has never been the case ever. All pointing out bias you don't like is doing is reinforcing your bruised ego because part of the world sees things different from you.
