Default Only Republicans Benefit by Undermining Democracy

One man, one vote... Unless you live in an Electoral College System like ours. Then it is one man, one vote in Ohio and three hundred men, one vote in California. Our system is not a Democracy, and the most egregious example of that is a man taking office who wasn't elected by the people but instead by a system that disenfranchises people.

Look at our history. When the President wins the Electoral College alone but loses the actual vote and confidence of the people, he is a Republican.

2016 - Trump
2000 - Bush Jr.
1888 - Harrison
1876 - Hayes

Should we be asking ourselves why Republicans benefit by stifling the voice of the people, or is that self-evident?

Yep, and check this out:

Republican Lawmakers in Five States Propose Bills to Criminalize Peaceful Protest

Back in the USSR, dunno how lucky you are, boy...

If you shut down roads or block interstates or block access to other areas and assemblies you are not engaging in peaceful protest.

You pretend I do not know we are not a democracy. I brought up the Electoral College, didn't I?

We are a Republic, a federation, but have no elected office that actually reflects the unity of the republic. We have no office in which a voter in California has equal voice to a voter in Texas, and neither have equal voice to a voter in a singular voter in Ohio.

The "genius" of Madison should be rolling out of your mouth with sarcasm.

As to the reality of the Democrats only being screwed by the EC, what say you?
