This is just a conspiracy theory so take it with a grain of salt, but I do wonder sometimes if Obama is really a Muslim because he does spend a great deal of time defending Islam. Also, some of the comments he makes are somewhat disturbing. I am not concerned that he might be a Muslim per se; but if he is truly a Muslim and hiding it. Well, that is something to be concerned about.

No he's Church of God or something on that order. A guy on another forum had him speak at his church as an elder once.
But I could absolutely care less.
It's stuff like this that is the reason GOP won't back Mitt Romney cause he's a scary Mormon.

But Mitt Romney openly admits to being a Mormon so I have no problem with that. It is the people that pretend to be something that they are not are the ones that concerns me, especially when that person happens to be the president.

No what I mean is I am surrounded by hard core conservatives here and they mostly say Mitt is unelectable because he's a Mormon (except the Mormons here of course). They project their own bigotry onto others.
This "conspiracy" is put out there straight from the fear play book of the Republican party.
