It's an impossible dream...
I still believe Americans can take on any project we decide to.
It's just slicing through the propaganda that is preventing a lot of beneficial actions.

There is a mile wide gap between being concerned about pollution and the drastic steps the left is pushing in an alleged effort to combat so called Climate Change.

This may come as a surprise, but most Conservatives do believe that the climate is going through a change . . . . just as it has been doing since the Earth had a climate. That big sometimes yellow, sometimes orange orb in the sky dictates the change to the climate much more that humans could ever do to affect it.

But at the same time, most Conservatives still want to keep our environment clean and free of pollution and litter. But there is a fine line that needs to be kept between eliminating pollution all together and eliminating fossil fuels, and acknowledging that we cannot eliminate fossil fuels entirely until a suitable replacement is found.

We can do more than we do now without having to completely kill our economy. We should do more to encourage recycling keeping trash out of our landfills and bodies of water. One of the biggest things we could do is to come up with better ways to recycle plastics and other materials that are currently filling out landfills.

We could also look at how we package items that we buy thus reducing the amount of waste that ends up in our landfills.

There are thousands of people, spending billions of private dollars, researching and developing new clean energy. They are constantly
making strides.

Why hand it over to the federal government? The only reason would be so
the politicians can mandate everything they deem necessary to control our
lives.

We can't change the weather, let alone the global climate. Why do people think a giant government program will be able to do it?
