Thanks go to Tony Heller, who first collected many of these news clips and posted them on RealClimateScience.

SUMMARY
Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.
None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true.
What follows is a collection of notably wild predictions from notable people in government and science.
More than merely spotlighting the failed predictions, this collection shows that the makers of failed apocalyptic predictions often are individuals holding respected positions in government and science.
While such predictions have been and continue to be enthusiastically reported by a media eager for sensational headlines, the failures are typically not revisited.

1967: ‘Dire famine by 1975.’

etc etc etc etc

I remember back in the mid 70's when the famine killed millions in the USA. Not to mention how the new ice age killed millions more, mostly in Russia. Then there was the early 80's when acid rain wiped out hundreds of thousands in all the big cities like New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Istanbul, Tokyo and Moscow. It was actually kind of incredible how so many people survived that acid rain. I myself was not only a survivor of the acid rain but I survived the post apocalyptic world that the acid rain brought about.
Then, not only after that, I survived the world war that President Ronald Reagan started, probably because I was in the army and not subject to the nuclear weapons used on the general populace.

The point is for decades we have heard prophets of doom use climate change as a cash cow. Never mind that Antarctica at one time was tropical or the ice age or the Medieval warm period followed by the little ice age all of which happened before the industrial revolution, human activity is responsible for the heretofore natural process of climate change.

How gullible do you have to be to sign on to the climate change scam when huckster Al Gore buys an $8 million beach house while warning of rising sea levels.

There is no potable water in Florida? Really. It's hard to take anything you write seriously when you spout nonsense like that.

Not sure where you are getting your information, but as usual, it is way off base.

Seasons with the most hurricanes, 1851 - Present
Rank Year Number of Hurricanes
1. 2005 15
2. 2010 12
2. 1969 12
4. 1887 11
4. 1950 11
4. 1998 11
4. 1995 11
8. 2012 10
8. 1933 10
8. 1916 10

https://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/top10.asp

Sure, there are a couple of years recent, but look at some of the other years. 1887 was not just the other day.

Also remember, that prior to the ability to view the oceans from satellites, the only way people knew of a hurricane is if it hit land. So prior to the 1970's, there could have been many storms that happened that nobody knew about.

What you are believing to be more hurricanes is simply that we know of them more now than they did prior to the 1970's. The hurricane that hit Galveston Texas in 1900 killed anywhere from 6000 to 12,000 people as a Cat 4. That was because nobody knew it was coming at them until it hit. How many other hurricanes existed back then that nobody knew about?

Also on that link is a category for most named storms. Most of those are recent. However, the NOAA didn't start naming storms until 1953. Therefore those results will be skewed toward's the present.

gullible? people in glass houses

if you don't believe in science believe in economics. if we get off fossil fuel as much as possible it will not only create jobs but diminish our need to fret over middle eastern politics.
if we were right now energy efficient, russia and Iran can stick syrias oil where the sun don't shine
