Like the fact only .01 % of Americans have served in the Military

[quotePercent of population in the military

At any given time in the past decade, less than 1 percent of the American population has been on active military duty, compared with 9 percent of Americans who were in uniform in World War II.]

Very True loboloco.. Yet America can do more by getting into C.C./wARMING..

Actually, we need to stay away from global warming as an issue. When the rest of the world comes crying about how we need to help, just tell them the technology is there and they need to get off their butts and use it.

America is a leader also produced more climate change than all of them combined till China who can't be pressured into doing anything unless America does.

China is now, and has been for a long time, the worst climate abuser around. China does nothing it doesn't want to irregardless of what the U.S. or any other country does.

China didn't have a lot of consumers to sell to until we started trading with them in earnest. Yes, we were the biggest contributor till they started rockin and a Rollin.
We could have a lot of influence on them if Trump hadn't wasted it. We still could someday under another President. but that president might not care either. only one who did was hamstrung by your party
but I know you dont care either so bully for you

We have a bit of influence and Trump is using as best it can be used. You mean like the president's who have allowed China to steal our technology and ship defective products here without any consequences?
How did the Constitutionalists hamstring any president?

America has produced more climate change? Exactly how is America producing "Climate Change"?

Once again, until someone can explain to me why the spot where I am currently sitting, is not covered by a mile thick sheet of ice as it was 10,000 years ago and also tell me what the average temperature of the Earth should be, don't give me this nonsense about man made climate change. The climate of the Earth has and always will be in a constant state of change.

Climate Change maybe? Climate Change trouble?, the stats say no.
worth the watch. for those that believe climate change is a real problem that the people and the gov'ts must fix, It's worth watching just to see a PORTION of why some of us are NOT concerned.

Sorry, but the worst environmental abuser of the 20th century was the Soviet Union. Since the US is a carbon sink, and has been for many decades your statement makes absolutely no sense.

they did that long before the negro my friend
The regulation for receiving and selling goods to a trade partner having to be non toxic and non poisonous was in fact recinded by Ronald Reagan in the 80s.
trump is not using his clout with china for pollution changes no
or for shipping us tainted goods that I am aware of

IT being "the Climate" is changing in a significant way?
maybe... maybe not.
why can't i understand it?
here's a list of reasons why don't trust the assertions
the DATA they use as a base is Sketchy and subject to change, reinterpretation, falsification and uncertainty. Not just for recent history but certainly for history of weather going back supposedly millions of years.
the computer MODELS they use to make predictions
are Far from perfect and NONE have been able to be calibrated to run accurate models predicting the weather going backwards to the known temps. why exactly should we put blind faith in the idea that they are correct going forward in predicting the future?
the theory that CO2 is the primary driver is NOT settled, there are many scientist that have better predictive models with other drivers in tandem or instead of carbon. and some scientist that don't see CO2 as a driver at all with some studies show that CO2 following the upward heat swings of the past rather than leading then.
the theory of global devastation by a 2-5 degree change is unproven, some think instead that it may in fact be beneficial. It a question for discussion rather than allowing those with fearmongering POVs to dominate the conversation. Historical Studies have shown that warmer climate has been beneficial recently and in the ancient human past. And CO2 is well known to be great for plant growth which is something we need with the earth's rising population.
the theory that Humans are the chief or LYNCH PIN cause of CO2 rise is very questionable. If you read past the headlines you'll see that there are many other natural factors that play a far bigger role. and that they are discovering and understanding (admitting) that there are more natural sources feeding into CO2 than Humans.
the Theory that Human's can Control CO2 well. as mentioned above CO2 is a natural gas. most of it does NOT come from Human's actions. The "solutions" proposed to curb Human CO2 production can be wiped out naturally in several different ways over the course of a few natural events. And If we De-Industrialize it will leave us with LESS tech and capacity to deal with the so called disasters that "WILL" follow from any uncontrollable natural rise.
the ideas purposed for the best courses of actions are only for so-called "prevention" of the foretold cascading disasters all seem to be BS, scams or more gov't population control tools. From "carbon taxes" to limiting cars and banning wood stoves. And even granting massive floods and heat waves it seems NO one wants to prepare for a those outcomes. the focus is 100% on Unrealistic(BS), questionable and sometimes even inhuman prevention tactics.
for example New Orleans and other cities in a Low flood areas. Many have been that way since their beginning. But with "X" degree of sea level rise we know Levees and dikes help. we KNOW they work. why not have public works projects of KNOWN effectiveness used to deal with the "100% sure"(?) disasters to come? It would BUILD infrastructure create jobs world wide. and prepare for other things even IF the Climate Disasters never show up. WIN WIN.
NONE of the worse case predictions of global warming science or climate change have come true so far. none. at some point do we get to say that some of these scientist and politicians are crying wolf.

Does that last one at least make sense.
NONE of the worse case predictions have happened. how SURE are they? Saltwn? MLurp?
Sorry I'm from Missouri on this.
there's nothing they've shown me that makes me think they have a definitive handle on what's going on now or what's GOING to happen in the future.
"Prediction is difficult- particularly when it involves the future."
Mark Twain
the Narrative about the "problem" of Climate Change we've been fed is VERY narrow.
the Allowed range of "experts" are Narrow.
the so-called solutions, and the asserted time before we all are to be overwhelmed is narrow.
Sorry, but doesn't it have the ring of a high pressure sale going on?

Don't get me wrong, Years ago i was resigned to listen to the pitch and move with trying to do something, if possible, to help avert the trouble. But after asking MANY questions of the pitchmen I'm just not buying the narrative anymore ... to many holes in the story.
the Problem they are selling Doesn't seem to be a real Problem and the Solutions they are selling seem kinda useless and FAR too painfully and costly to endure.

It'd be one thing if they were clearly without any significant refutation but from what I can tell, there's far more Snake Oil in Climate Science pitches than is let on. And tankers of Snake Oil and BS in the political Climate Change Pitches to make us change our way of life overnight.

So, yeah, "why don't i understand"?
the above is an outline.
