Gee history.. Well today earth isn't spewing out sulfur and other gases from many volcanos going off at once around the planet.. So mankind does have an effect..

I would have hoped by now you and a few others would have realized all I am doing is placing news in posts to inform others. And they can decide what to believe.

I am not 'chicken little' guys. Just posting news...

There are still two sides to the arguments of AGW. What I believe is that you seldom, if ever post, arguments from the other side. Thus making dubious, your claim that you are just posting news for our "information."

How far back in time are you talking? Over the recorded history of man, I don't believe that volcano's were erupting with that frequency but still the climate changed and continues to change. It has nothing to do with volcano's per say and everything to do with the fact that the climate is not a static thing. It is in a constant state of change, always has been, always will be.

Volcanoes historically had a huge influence on climate. But we are talking about geological history of the planet's 4 billion years of forming.

today their effect is minimal by comparison, yet major by impact.

that said, the mot we could say about todays volcanic effects it is that it is comparatively benign.

Desertification seems to travel from west to east throughout the world. In fact the Sahara is moving east leaving the western coast of North Africa to turn green ,,,; again after thousands of years of desert.

Lurpy, you oost a statement that all you're doing is posting information and then post an opinion in the same post. Don't sell yourself short. Both are a good thing.
