I know I wouldn't weed my wooded property there. I might cause the extinction of some prehistoric fungus. GOLLY!

One body found that I know of so far. A youngish couple just got into a mortgage on a home (they have a baby) and five days later evacuated and lost it. At least they are ok, but dang what lousy luck.

I live in Idaho. We have devastating wildfires yearly and sometimes the smoke gets so thick from several at once. The difference in us and California is population. Thank God most of ours don't hit towns but sometimes they do.
Wildfires are natural weather. I have wondered why Florida had them nowadays but they have dried up a lot of water /wet lands to build. But we've always had them.

One more time for those with partisan blinders on: Wildfires are natural weather.

Yea sure. clearing wetlands for building is not climate change. It just isn't.
