Most vegans are, and have to be, super attentive to what is in their food. Some even carry it forward about their clothing and their household furnishings. That could be defined as super anal.

I am 'anal' about knowing what is in my food because of not only my diabetes, but my allergy to pepper, black white or red. I will inquire at restaurants regarding carbs and ingredients, I read packages at grocery stores (at least I close the freezer doors while doing so ) and write letters to food manufactures regarding listing all ingredients and not hiding pepper under 'spices'.

It's not 'hard to do' if that's the route you choose to go. I find it too much bother to go the whole route. Many people don't even know all the ins and outs.

The title of the thread and article very clearly involve vegans and the environment, so it's not off-topic, and was likely an injection of humor into the topic.

But since it didn't come from someone you deem as aligned to your thinking, it is an attack. Of course it is.

Apparently, you don't understand the components of the article, but that's your privilege to do so.

Carry on.

Sure, have at it. Please include the environmental impact of cattle and pigs and the production of methane there of to demolition of the rainforests.

I attack dumbasses. Vegan or carnivore is no defense. Vegans, by the way, do eat animals. All the time. Think hard on that.

Do you actually have something related to the subject to add? A cute vegan story, or how eating animal protein ups your vigor?

Oh, maybe. Look at my post again.

Red beans and rice provide all that a person needs in the way of nutrition. To heck with that every day. I want a cheeseburger occasionally.

Including a word from the article title, while posting your standard manure is not contributing to a discussion. Lumara posted a personal anecdote. I posted what I knew of the vegan practice.

And you?.....

OH! The melodrama. I already contributed something. And my prior post was in response to the whine of another poster. Pay attention. Do you believe vegetable eaters eat animals every day, like it or not?

MANURE?
