Did I say anything about a bail out? Since the left has spent all the money no one expects a bail out, just the riddance of the left from our government so there might actually be some money that we have a choice about.

Your the crazy one here, and every one knows it. Sure I get can get carried away, but so can you....

Let farmers die. What kind of attitude is that anyway? That of a mad man left winger?

United States Drought Monitor > Home

This is the result of three years of large crops, with large amounts of seed and fertilizer, coupled with great weather....

Tough times in farm country. Expenses have to come down, seed especially, but fertilizer and herbicides as well, before farms can be financially healthy again.

That's because of overproduction and over use of the land, to profit from the mandated ETOH business. With price supports from the gubmint to insure production and a mandate from most states to put the crap in our engines.
And it has nothing to do with the cost of fuel as we have plenty of oil and gas from which to power our cars and trucks.

Sorry Kirk but you know where I stand on this.

After rebuilding or losing several small engines, two chain saws, an outboard and a tractor engine because of this crap in the fuel, I have no patience for an argument about the farmer's plight.

They supported it and profited from it, knowing it is bad for the environment, the engines, and frankly our economy. But, if IOWA wants to continue using land that shouldn't be plowed, to produce a uniform crop that requires so much chemical and pesticide support, at the very least grow corn people can eat. Dent Corn is worthless as a food crop.

The world is hungry.

We can feed it.

End of rant.

Franc not a kernel of my corn goes into ethanol for the most part. I am happy selling mine for people food to a food grade processor who sends it to your city to make into Bush beer. Not exactly ethanol, but a close relative...

Glad to hear that but,,,;That's you. Your state politicians need to be weaned from ETOH. And a good many of your corporate farmers.

As does our nation.
We're cool
