Default Scientists Found a Second Giant Garbage Patch in the Pacific

New Prime real estate ready for development is what it really is!

Somewhere in the North Pacific, there's a giant floating patch of garbage thousands of miles wide. It contains millions of tons of plastic and is estimated to take up an area the size of Alaska. We've known about it for around 30 years, and scientists have struggled to develop a method to clean it up.

And now, a group of researchers has discovered another one.

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch floating in the North Pacific is the result of ocean currents called gyres. These gyres are circling currents that can trap particles floating in them and push them into a single area. Essentially, all the trash thrown into the North Pacific is brought to a single area off the coast of North America.

I envision a Trump real estate project on this stinking garbage pile of ****.

Today's "scientists and chemists" graduating from our colleges are a hurting unit if none of those dumbasses can figure out how to convert garbage into fuel.

What you should envision is what happens to your garbage when you put the water bottle and no-return beer bottles in the trash.

It's not that we generate so much of it, it is that we still do not properly dispose or recycle it. The technology exists to prevent this catastrophe which is far more threatening to our world than global warming. Yet where do we spend our political energy?

I have been recycling all my paper, aluminum, plastic, and glass since 1989. Not because I think it would ruin the environment, but more that I am a conservative, and we like seeing things reused.

Cool. I read that a thousand years from now scientists may get a clean fuel source from all the land fills around the world after years of fermentation.

The new fossil fuel, only clean. Wouldn't that be something?

It is not exactly clean gas. Actually, methan gas is labeled as a green house gas

Landfill gas (LFG) is a natural byproduct of the decomposition of organic material in landfills. LFG is composed of roughly 50 percent methane (the primary component of natural gas), 50 percent carbon dioxide (CO2) and a small amount of non-methane organic compounds. Methane is a potent greenhouse gas 28 to 36 times more effective than CO2 at trapping heat in the atmosphere over a 100-year period, per the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
