Calculate and offset your carbon footprint With the calculator, a person flying from London to Bali and back has a carbon footprint of 4.44 tons That same person driving a Jeep Cherokee 10,000 miles a year has a carbon footprint of 4.57 tons. |

Al Gore is the prophet of the AGW movement yet he has a relatively huge carbon footprint. He is the supposed canary in the mine, telling us we are all gonna die. If you ask me, he shows way too much plumage for a common canary, but that's just me. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sh...totally-ignore |

Just imagine what it would be if they weren't driving eco friendly cars, recycling, buying local, etc, etc. Just because flying somewhere once a year is a "big footprint" doesn't mean that trying to minimize one's footprint is a bad idea.
Besides, I don't see how EACH person on the plane accounts for the carbon footprint of the entire f*cking flight. If it was a single person plane and someone was flying around all the time, sure. But that's not the case. |
