Figuring out a temperature trend for specific years is not difficult, you know. You don't need a study. There's a website you can go to where you type in the years, and it will give you the trend along with a graph.

This business of the developing flatline trend is not even new. They've been talking about it for years. All that's new is the data has been updated.

Except that GW and specifically the impact of CO2 can be empirically proven to be wrong and have been shown to be wrong on multiple occasions. But there's no money to be made proving that GW isn't happening and there's no political agenda to be pursued by showing that anthropogenic CO2 can't create GW. This is case of agendas and greed over-riding science and truth.

Global warming,global cooling,good science,paid for science,I don't know what it is but something isn't right. I've seen weather in the last 8 years that I haven't seen in my entire life. Increased tornado activity,record breaking snow followed by record breaking warmup,flooding in places it's never flooded before. Somethings out of whack.

Yet if you look at the data you'll discover your impression is incorrect. Nothing is without precedent, or worse now than it's ever been. All that's changed is you're more encouraged to think of erratic weather as significant.

Although there's large climate influences that can trick you. The warming spike was a period of El Ninos. Lately with the flat line we've been entering a period of La Ninas. These both can bring predictable blotches of erratic weather. For example you'll see more tornadoes with La Ninas.

I really just don't get it. The earth gets warmer. It gets cooler. This happens and has happened for billions of years. It's been happening long before we got here and will continue long after we're gone. The lifeforms that adapt to the changes survive. The ones that don't adapt will die. That's the way it's been for billions of years. WTF is there to debate?
