More Americans convinced of climate change

Stillo don't believe in Climate Change? Well more people today do believe than before it became a political football.

I shall leave each to their own theorys and thoughts as I do and have believed in C.C. sense B-4 coming here..
Understanding nature which I spent a large part of my early life among, means I don't need the charts, graphs or any politican explaining it to me.

As History speaks volumes and pictures speak many more volumes.

Every summer it seems like a different kind of out-of-control weather pattern decides to strike. In the past month alone, we've experienced deadly Colorado wildfires, early-season heat waves and a wind-whipping hurricane, convincing formerly dubious Americans that climate change is actually real, according to the Associated Press.

"Many people around the world are beginning to appreciate that climate change is under way, that it's having consequences that are playing out in real time and, in the United States at least, we are seeing more and more examples of extreme weather and extreme climate-related events," Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), told the AP.

Climate change used to be a "nebulous concept," removed from everyday life, said Lubchenco. Not anymore. Extreme weather events have given the term actual meaning, making it more concrete. "Perceptions in the United States...are in many cases beginning to change as [people] experience something first-hand that they at least think is directly attributable to climate change," she said. She cited "skyrocketing" demand for NOAA's data from individuals and groups across America as one way to tell people are paying closer attention to the science behind the storms.

Although it's hard to say that a specific event was caused by climate change, the phenomenon does result in extreme weather incidents happening more frequently. "Where there is more energy in a system, events such as fires, heat waves and storms" will occur more often, Tim Profeta, Founding Director of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University told Yahoo News. And if such episodes lead to an increase in climate awareness, well, that's a good thing, he says.

I think it's uncanny how much this recession mimics the great depression. Besides the monopolies and mortgage problems, look at the weather:

Why I occasionally fall for the climate change routine is in my lifetime I have never been restricted to staying indoors and not even risk taking a walk some days-till this year.
But I did not live during the time of the above map.

Can you find one for Dec., 2011 thru June 2012?

I found a few but have to search thru each for one like salty posted. But I will post the ones with LINKS to all kinds of info & data. As this one gives. About each is a links to more data.

Yea I kind of gave it up myself, thats why I posted the SEARCH PAGE..

If all of them are like my first find then each person can pick through them and find what they want to save as I did.

Yet I would have loved to find one like you posted for June of last year to now...

That would be the keeper for posting. Yet I did find 2 I can use, yet they to are links, like what I did post, all links to other data.

I spoke with someone in Iowa this morning who says it's never been this hot, but it was -just before we were born.
Yes climate change is a hot topic.

It will change but will we go into an ice age or a water world?

Well I am a good swimmer or was.

And I do have a lot of winter camping gear but would never want to use it for more than 3 days or at most a week.

Can I ask if you read any of the 4,130 comments at the site?
