Proposed high school for gays isn't likely to open before 2012

Reform school was brought about due to student's ACTIONS...Not because they exist...

Are there that many gays there? Maybe they should check the water system.

![]() Personally, I would settle for simple non-discrimination. 2) There are some in every group. I don't believe this is an idea embraced by any statistically significant portion of either "gays" or "liberals". It's a hair-brained idea. From multiple ways, it's dumb, including the ways mentioned in the article. (For another perspective, if it were to become a reality, how many parents of gay kids would want to send their kids there? I sure as hell would not if I had gay kids.) 3) It's just in the "proposal" stage. I wouldn't be surprised if any vote on the matter quickly shot it down, and the only reason this news article came to light is because somebody had an idea with the clout to bring it to the "proposal" status. I would be surprised if it made it past that... |

Kindly provide evidence that homosexuality is transmitted via water supplies.

You're trying to equate how people ACT with what they ARE...They're two totally different categories...

How do you arrive at that? Tristan is saying that it is the bullies who need to be sent away rather than the gay kids. And if they don't bully then they aren't bullies. Where do are and act come in?

I read it as more of an alternative action. Instead of creating a "gay" school for the gays because of bullies (an option that appears unanimously rejected), we should employ the existing standard of "reform" schools for the bullies. (I assume there is some satire / sarcasm in Tristan's post as well...) The "solution" to the situation IS NOT to create a "gay" school, but to use the EXISTING "reform" schools for the REAL problem. THAT is the segregation which should be employed... Nobody is trying to "equate" the two, cause everybody here appears to be in agreement that the "gay" school is a bad idea. |
