Are CFL's and their mandated use a violation of our rights? I use them all throughout my home. They are a cost and energy saver but should their use be required by law?

Decisions such as these should be decide by the free market just like anything else...

I've been phasing out the incandescents in my home for the last year or so and replacing them with either CFLs or LEDs. I think that it's a smart thing to do, but I definitely don't want the gov't dictating what bulbs I use. IMO, incandescants are an their way to joining 8-tracks, VHS tapes and pet rocks, but the gov't shouldn't be sticking their noses into it.
