From what I've read, research does not point to a gene, but rather to what happens in the mother's womb during gestation. It has to do with brain chemistry. That's why I specifically mentioned abortion.


...and don't kid yourself... there will be folks on the left who will abort based on sexual orientation.

As will there be on the right. "Ain't gonna have me no queer for a son..." etc.

At least you recognize homosexuality as something that comes from nature (as opposed to nurture), at least in some cases.

Of course that isn't to say that there isn't a gay gene, and that it isn't responsible for some homosexuality.

No reason every person's sexual orientation has to be dictated by genetics, hormones, or environment, and that it can't be a combination of the above, or some people for one reason rather than another.
