Baby Lives Matter

The cryptic words, "Baby Lives Matter," were just painted (in blue and pink) on the street in front of Planned Parenthood in Salt Lake City.

One hopes that the message might get through...

What makes you think politicians care about the unborn when they won't even protect the living?

I think politicians are almost exclusively concerned with what will help to get them elected (or re-elected).

But just why might the cynicism of politicians nullify the central point of this message?

because they make the laws and propagandize people to their will.
if we still had a free mainstream press (and I include foxnews in that along with msn and cnn, abc, cbs and etc), people might get facts that really affect this issue.

All the press does is show us the battle between the politicians and their fake causes.
all politicians are afraid of women. politicians don't even know or care what women think on this if given facts. politicians don't want compromise on this because it will destroy talking points that build voter blocks.
in fact they make you believe there is no compromise.

I don't think it's "cryptic" at all...:no

From over a month ago...

Trump campaign selling 'Baby Lives Matter' onesie on website

Quote:

Amid unprecedented civil unrest in response to police brutality across the country, President Donald Trump's campaign is offering a onesie for babies on its website with the words "Baby Lives Matter" in the script and style of the "Black Lives Matter" movement logo.

The onesies are designed to highlight the President's support for the anti-abortion movement. They were originally offered as a promotion around the March for Life in January and remain available for purchase for $18, listed as a "limited edition" item. Trump is the first US president in history to speak at the march, an annual protest in Washington against abortion rights, since the historic Roe v. Wade decision was handed down in 1973.

that is what I mean
rally round and clap or cry for the babies boo-hoo
let's all vote for this guy boo-hoo
nobody does anything about it. because without those weeping mothers they would not draw the anti abortion vote
Trump cares about the unborn as much as he cares about puerto ricans he threw paper towels to. look how he endangered his own great nephew's life.
he cares as much as Al Gore cares about womens' rights.
if we had a politician who cared about the people (over but not exclusively over big donors) he or she would be vilified and ridiculed by both parties ...oh wait...
jimmy carter ...mitt romney...john mccain...aoc

Jimmy Carter was evidently a good human being--but a poor president, in my opinion.

Mitt Romney is not a Republican, in any meaningful sense of the word (even though he continues to carry an "R" next to his name); but he is really not in line with the Democrats, either. Probably the best way to describe him is to say that he is a RINO--and a transparent Trump hater.

John McCain (the late John McCain) was, in my opinion, a better man than many of my fellow conservatives credit him with having been. He was a genuine man of principle. (However, the one thing for which I have never been able to quite forgive him is his casting the deciding vote to retain ObamaCare.)

AOC, too, is principled enough; but it is really hard for me to give accolades to a socialist. (She may even be a bit to the left of Bernie Sanders; and that is particularly difficult--at least, in this country.)

because of propaganda tons of people think he was bad and reagan great. while reagan was not as bad as some he was definitely not great and moved us toward the great recession with his personality and not great picks surrounding him/also newt was bad for us imho.

which is the line set forth carefully and meticulously. I'm next door to utah, many idahoans have ties there. Mormons are conservative but they're not nuts.

what possible gain could he be after? no. he is an honest conservative. just not crazy or a white supremacist sympathizer.

he may have done it to piss off Trump but I think he actually leaned that way as he saw it was better for the economy and when there was no reason to get in line w/ mitch anymore he voted his conscience.

they are of the same ilk, however things are so screwed up I believe the Dem party did right to push Joe who is a middle of the road Democrat not even much of a liberl except he loves unions. his foreign experience is much needed to unscrew this mess. I'm sure he will get blamed by some for trump and pompeo , davos etc., actions, but hopefully he'll turn the country toward a stable course.
