yes yes
in texas doctors weren't even allowed to abort a dead baby. the risk of gangrene notwithstanding
governments should never have interfered period.

Government's is in the right place when it's protecting innocent lives of it's citizens within it's boarders.
They should always "interfere" when innocent people are being targeted and killed.
by appointment no less

government -of states in this instance- should never have interfered in what a board certified gynecologist prescribed and we would not be in the pickle we are in now with politics dictating how abortion is allowed. It was never approved by medical over site orgs and schools before roe vs wade. roe vs wade came about because governments over stepped their bounds and made the argument something else entirely.

if you think any party or politician will help you put medical ethics back into abortion prescriptions, you don't know how politics works.

When any board certified gynecologist wants to recommend killing other human beings that are not a threat to the mother's life, then the State should step in.
Before Roe abortion was only legal in a few states and gynecologist in states where they were not legal did not recommend them because of that. Which is as it should be.

Politics works where's there's pressure, sadly it's as simply as that.

You keep referring to "board certified doctors" making the decision. Before the horror of Roe V Wade,,,,;THAT IS HOW IT WAS DONE.

Back in 1973, when I was a Democrat and a young father, we were horrified of the stories of back alley abortions and how, if legalized, abortions could be done "safe and rare." My sentiments were with the ruling of the court. One would have to be dumb, blind and stupid not to remember the media coverage and sentiments of those years.

But, I knew nothing of Eugenicists and Margaret Sanger. No one warned us of the monster Planned Parenthood would become. Or considered the evil of late term, (and now post term) abortions, once we opened Pandora's box. Since the box was unsealed, over 60 million soul have been lost. That is equal to 20% of our current population.

https://prepareforchange.net/2018/02...e-v-wade-1973/

In effect, the SCOTUS ruled capital punishment for 20% of the nation's citizenry. Not criminals, which would be an abhorrent injustice, but the innocent unborn.

abortion for other than medically necessary reasons was NEVER legal in any state in the union. Abortion on demand only became a thing because some states wrongly interfered with MEDICALLY NECESSARY abortions. That opened a can of wormies that were scooped up by political activists in both parties.
I lived in a state where it was illegal and had a personal friend who could NEVER have children due to her carrying that DEAD baby in her womb till she delivered. It's a wonder she even lived.
As a woman I was in favor of changing the laws because of that, but did not realize for a good while what exactly Roe was based on. It's based on privacy just like hypa. So fat chance ever getting rid of it now. All we can hope for is limiting where it is done and hopefully when.

Your imaginary friend forced to carry a still born child to term would have benefited from the advice of a competent physician, one familiar with labor inducing drugs or a C section, instead of the imaginary physician who evidently did nothing to help her. The story is yet another canard brought up to distract from the wholesale slaughter of the unborn endorsed by abortion on demand.
