It always amazes me when I see threads like this. People are all to eager to jump on board at bashing a group of people who have made a choice to associate with whom they want.

The Boys Scout made a choice, but to some it is the wrong choice and by God we are going to rip them a new ******* because they didn't jump on board the gay and lesbian bandwagon.

The Supreme Court ruled in the year 2000 that the Boy Scouts didn't have to accept homosexuals into their ranks because they are a private group. This does not sit well with the gay and lesbian lobby. No sir, they still want to force feed the Boy Scouts their agenda come hell or high water.

Not everyone agrees that homosexuality is a trait you are born with and not everyone agrees with that life style, so why do the gay and lesbian lobby want to force this life style upon the Boy Scouts? Why must the homosexual agenda be forced down everyones throat?

The Boy Scouts exercised their first amendment rights to associate with whom they chose, but, to a very small, but vocal group it is unacceptable and must be dealt with severely.

Just make it so that any fraternization between scouts and scouts or scouts and adults is automatic termination of membership, status, et cetera. That's the way it is in the Armed Forces. Keep your genitals and sexual ideas out of the work and training environment. PERIOD!

That some people still equate a sexual orientation with pedophilia is sad.

Most pedophiles cannot maintain adult relations in a manner that clarifies their orientation in a concise manner. Especially since certain sources find that pedophilia may be a sexual orientation of it's own.

Of course the scouts are free to discriminate against whomever they wish. And the rest of us are free to call them bigoted, ignorant ****s. By no means should they be forced to accept blacks, hispanics, homosexuals, jews, christians, whomever into their ranks if they don't want to. But by no means are the rest of us going to be silent about our opinion of their choice. I hope that more and more parents refuse to associate with the scouts because of their ignorance and bigotry and that another, more inclusive group takes its place.
