Benghazi-Gate indeed

Wood is a Utah natl guard member from Utah who was part of a security force in Tripoli.

I watched some of the hearings on Benghazi. We should be asking questions like is our privatization of security a factor in this? and Why didn't the ambassador or his staff ask for more security?
The Republican congressmen at hearing vassilated between trying to get DoD employees to divulge classified information and trying to make them make statements about the "video".
Issa is a joke.
And so are these investigations.

If the WH knew that the embassy there was requesting additional security and failed to provide it, then the investigation is definitely worthwhile. The only way to find that out is to have an investigation.

BTW - The ambassador did request more security, that's not debatable whatsoever. The question is about whether or not that request reached the WH and if it did, why it wasn't responded to appropriately.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be investigation just that the people having it are more interested in politics than getting at the truth. At this sitting I have not heard that the ambassador or his aids asked for more security. Someone down the line had asked for it and in the bureaucracy underlings' requests were ignored (this last part is an assumption).
We need to find out why the requests were ignored if they were. And the way the one lady was testifying her hands are tied by X,Y and Z which is rediculous. XY &Z being why do you need them, what exact type do you need etc. There should be an expedited way to do this. As one congressman offered why not send in the marines?
But mostly the congressmen wanted a public hearing so they could get the questions about "the video" on youtube. And the witnesses couldn't answer many of the questions do to classification of info. There needs to be a closed hearing.

Bad guys are always going to exploit a weakness. Reagan had the Marines in Lebenon. Clinton had the Cole. Now we lost four good people. We are in a constant war against extremists and you are not going to always get it right. So be it. Shlt happens and we learn and move on.
And if the Obama Administration had answered like this instead of trying to keep it from being called a "terrorist" attack, we would no longer be talking about it. Why is it so hard for this administration to be honest with the American people and admit when they make a mistake?

Right. Move along. Nothing to see here. Obama has it all under control.

Your boys screwed up sw. It's time for them to grow a pair and admit a mistake. No one is perfect, but it sure does aggravate the situation when you intentionally lie to keep from accepting your responsibility. That's why I don't trust this administration. If they will lie about something as simple as this, imagine what else they are lying to us about.

Why don't you do some investigation on your own. look at comments and blogs from people other than your buddies also watch the video of the hearings on cspan. watch what the different people have actually said and are saying.

Nobody outside the OA says anything but the OA is lying.

Intelligence community may just disagree with you. And it seems Hillary is now the dog on the bottom of the pile getting blamed. You sure she and Bill will go along with this?
