Trying to "educate" them not to is about as effective as trying to educate obese people not to eat, rather than to eat healthier.

We've all seen the failure of abstinence-only education.
Everywhere it has gone, higher teen pregnancy rates follow.

If in a few years my daughter comes to me and asks about birth control, or indicates she is thinking about becoming sexually active, or tells me she IS sexually active, I will not lecture and beat my Bible.

We will have a serious mother/daughter talk about responsibility, and one possible outcome of that talk will be my giving her permission to go on the pill.

In doing so, will I be giving her permission to be a slut? No. She is going to have sex whether she is on the pill or not, just like people do.

Instead, I will be acknowledging through my permission that she is a human being, and I will be helping her in becoming an educated, responsible one.

Because that's what parents are supposed to do, isn't it?

If you think everyone who has called people whores is jealous, you're mistaken. No one wants to be identified as something bad. Maybe on television sitcomms or among teenagers that might be the case.
I don't mind admiring beautiful women. I love beautiful things. It never bothered me to see another person do well or be happy.
I have met some women who were so ugly or thought they were, that they would go to bed with anyone. They hung out in bars frequented by illegal aliens hoping to get some horney homesick Mexican to take them home.

They were whores. They might have not been murderers, but they were whores.
There are people who are addicted to sex. Their addiction makes them into whores like whiskey addiction makes someone into what another person will label a drunk.
There are girls who go to college and drop their drawers for any d___ that stands at attention. People-average people, good, bad, holy or hypocrite will call them whores. They're not calling them murderers. They're calling a spade a spade.
That's not to say these girls' fates are written in stone. They can go through a crazy period of their lives and then get saved and not say shite if they have a mouthful. (I have a theory a lot of former bra-burners did that! LOL)Or become respectable citizens in a proffession or have a great relationship and kids. They can forgive themselves their indescrections and move on.
