That's rich. It was not the right that has been employing character assassination to stifle speech. In the case of David Hogg, it was the left that promoted this 18 yr old kid as their spokesman after the Parkland shooting. It is when he began attacking everyone with a differing opinion that the right fought back to show how clueless he was in his positions.

If you want to talk character assassination, lets talk Nicholas Sandmann who had the audacity to visit Washington D.C. for a pro-life rally while wearing a MAGA hat. Then while being attacked by not one, but two separate, left leaning groups, he simply stood there and said nothing.

And what did the left wing MSM (and here I repeat myself) do? They painted him as the second coming of Hitler. He never expressed an opinion; he didn't confront anyone; he just stood there and let the idiot with the drum make a fool of himself. And then naturally, the MSM took the side of the fool.

THAT is a classic example of Character Assassination!
