I say let the Democrat ignoramuses work themselves into a frenzy writing Bills that will never become law. They have legislative blue-balls, you are correct on that, and they are compelled to act -- not so much in the public interest but to poke a stick in the eye of US gun owners and especially, the NRA.

The Democrats have nothing but spite and hate motivating them.
I wish you would quit broad brushing people. Though there's no party for me right now I don't put down ALL Republicans or even say ALL trump voters are ignoramuses. I think some of them are following a cult and others don't pay attention except to the big lead headlines.

Free speech is regulated. Assembly and practice of your religion are regulated. None of these is open completely no-matter-what to an individual's interpretation.
The second amendment likewise.
