Fascism is such things as silencing speech, either by the government or political groups. Fascism is forcing people, by government fiat, to buy a product they wouldn't otherwise buy.
Your understanding of it is different from mine. Some nut job teacher hitting someone over the head is not as dangerous to our freedoms as a President who stands by and does nothing when a dictator he invited has guards beat people legally ad non violently exercising that freedom.
