Default Re: ROBINSON FREED: thanks supporters as he walks free from prison...

Here are some more details about Tommy Robinson's unlawful arrest.

In one of the most stunning attacks on the freedom of speech in recent years, Tommy Robinson, the independent journalist and political activist, was arrested on Friday after broadcasting an hour long video over Facebook from outside Leeds crown court.

As seen in the video below, the officers claim their charge against Tommy is 'suspicion of the breach of peace.'

Not even an actual breach of the peace, but the suspicion of.

When Tommy asks, "What does that mean?" he's not given an answer, but then told that he's also 'inciting people."

Here are the 5 Facts about this arrest that you need to know.

1 Contempt of Court Definition

Despite the claims of Tommy 'breaching the peace', he was actually charged with 'Contempt of Court' for his actions. The contempt of court charge essentially meant that the police were accusing Tommy of publishing material that could prejudice an ongoing trial. Though to look at the definition of the charge it's apparent Tommy is not guilty in any sense of the word.

According to the Crown Prosecution Service, the main types of the offence can be physically interfering in a trial, threatening witnesses or obstructing justice.

Throughout the livestream it is clear that Tommy never set foot on the court precinct.

2 The Speed of the Conviction

What's important to notice is that during the livestream Tommy requests that he be given his 'solicitor' or what we would call a lawyer.

Despite this, within hours Tommy was summoned before the judge while his personal lawyer was not informed of what was happening.

Instead, the court appointed a lawyer who didn’t know Tommy and wasn’t an expert in the specialized law of contempt of court.

In a matter of minutes, Tommy was convicted and sent to prison with a 13 month sentence.

3 History with Police

Tommy has a long history of being harassed by the police, with a couple officers actually filmed admitting that they've received orders from their superiors to stalk him.

4 The Gag Order

A court order was issued regarding Tommys arrest, which prevented the reporting of his arrest and the reporting of the court proceedings.

“What kind of police state have we become?” tweeted UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader and MEP Gerard Batten.

The story went viral after thousands of protesters descended upon Downing Street and were filmed demanding the release of Tommy.

5 Death sentence

Not only has Tommy been attacked multiple times during his filming in various cities across the UK, but he was also beaten nearly to death by muslim immigrants who left him disfigured and with brain swelling.

Because he is well known within the muslim community as being in staunch opposition to Islamic ideals, Tommy has been a target for violent muslim gangs throughout Britain.

A 13-month prison sentence for Tommy is tantamount to a death sentence as the HM Prison Hull houses a large number of muslim gangs, the likes of which have already threatened his life.
If Islam is the religion of peace, why is there no peace in the Middle East?
