In context, the two are equitable. Both issues were taken to the SCOTUS and were resolved there without a ballot box. Jaaman was implying that his should not happen, but clearly it has before and will continue to happen in the face of unjust rulings. It's how our republic works.

I didn't compare those two issues at all. I compared how they were handled by the Supreme Court.
