Infringing on the 2nd amendment in unpatriotic. So I will call those that banned the Tommy-gun unpatriotic.Amazing how when it was perfectly legal for citizens to own Tommy-guns there were no where near as many mass shootings as there are now.

They won WWII, and our grandparents won WWI. They warned us against propaganda having experienced its affect over seas.

Propagandizing citizens, whether by corporate or political interests, is wrong. Not just wrong, but evil.
So says the person who sides with anti-2nd amendment trash who falsely label semi-automatic firearms as military grade, weapons of war, or assault weapons in order to try to ban them. You side with people who falsely label 20 to 30 round capacity magazines as high capacity in order to try to ban them

The NRA has propagandized citizens through ads, articles and lobbyist efforts (where the money pays for 'gun rights' politic campaign ads and entices candidates to promote their interests to their constituents).
Any competent 2nd amendment rights group will speak out any time politicians try to infringe on the 2nd amendment.

We can make military grade weaponry (weapons only made to kill humans) illegal and that would have zero affect on the second amendment.

Many of the same people who make the absurd claims you are making once claimed that 2nd amendment is a group right and therefor doesn't grant the individual the right to keep and bear arms, only those in a well regulated militia has that right. Now many of those same people are trying to claim that the 2nd amendment doesn't grant you the right to own " military grade" firearms even militias would use "military grade" firearms.

Why do you think our founders made the 2nd amendment?

(Hint: we don't issue dr licenses to epileptics till they are seizure free for 2 yrs; medical employees must report when they merely wonder without actual proof if a child is being abused).
Driving is a state granted privilege. Obtaining a fire arm is not. So the comparison is invalid.
"There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”—Theodore Roosevelt
