Default Re: Daylight saving time ends Sunday: 6 things to know about “falling back”

Personally, I'm in favor of DST just the way it works now. During the summer, it is light longer in the evening allowing another hour for outdoor activities, in my case golf. DST extends the after work golf season by about a month.

I also don't favor keeping DST going through the winter as the morning commutes to work would be in complete darkness for about 5 months.

As far as energy savings are concerned, I don't believe it has much of an effect one way or the other.
