As for those being persecuted today, would they renounce their religion to stop the toucher? If not then some higher power is getting them through the pain.

How many Christians have you heard that were tortured that have said they did not feel the pain of being tortured? I am aware that their could be exception, but I am talking about the rule here. If there are Christians who are being tortured and live, they would no dought be telling as much people about it as they possibly can….at least I know I would.

What did Jesus said when Paul was persecution the Church? What did Jesus said to the disciples after He was resurrected? Did Jesus felt pain when He was one the cross?
God uplift His people every with His words so that when our day of trouble comes we will be ready. Don't the scripture says that the suffering of this world cannot be compared to the glory that will be reviled in us? How can a person suffer with out pain? The fact that one suffers means is pain involved.

This is baste on my own observations; I have seen those who call themselves Christians talk more about the things of this world than they do about spiritual things. Such as the kind of cars they love, the house they want or the person they would love to marry, not to mention politics….some are very good at gossiping, just to name a few things.
