I disagree. We stop people from killing themselves all the time and this decision was suicidal. If the child was trying to slit his wrists and claiming God was telling him to do it we'd have no qualms about stepping in. If he were hit by a car, bleeding, unconscious, and rushed to the ER necessary blood transfusions would have been done and justified as life saving measures. He wouldn't have been awake to say boo about it. We go about the business of protecting people from themselves all the time. Why we should let "religious conviction" stand in the way of that is beyond me.

I hardly believe in mature minors. In fact I think it's far more common to meet up with an immature adult.
