ch. 5 they find out the crazy mean kid likes Hitler. How's that for foreshadowing?

Amir admits, somewhat, that Hassan is a friend. More like a brother, really. He also realizes he snubs him when others are around. He also realizes how brave Hassan is. We realize Baba treats Hassan somewhat like a son and this makes Amir soooo jealous he's even coveting a harelip which is saying something.
***Though I gotta admit Joaquin Phoenix's harelip repair scar genuinely turns me on. It's incredibly sexy. I remember telling someone, "God that guys scar above his lip is so hot," and they were like, "Hey dumba$$ that's a harelip." Hot none the less. Yum. Anyway back to the book...***
Amir also tells Hassan he'll buy him a tv one day. He really loves his friend despite the jealousy and this comment about buying the tv shows that he sees him and Hassan's relationship as a strong one that will last in the future.
Chaper six all about the kite running. Sounds interesting. Glass string and what not. Never heard of it before....
That's all I got for these two chapters.
