You would need to provide some evidence that God removes a Christian’s pain when they are being persecuted. There are Christians right now as we speak that are being persecuted, and the Church that I am a member of has members in Countries that torched Christians, and some of them have spoken about how they were tortured, they never said that they never felt any pain.
Jesus never promise Christians that when they are being persecuted, God will cause them not to feel the pain. We must avoid making things up simply because we cannot understand how some one can endure such treatment. They endured the persecution because they were so committed to God that not even that could cause them to turn their backs on God. We in the west have a lot to learn from these Christians about what it means to be a Christians…in this Country, we are so materialistic. Our minds are more set on this world and the things of this world.
