If the Iraq war ends before Obama is out in 2016, it is only because that was the plan regardless of who "won" the election, and has nothing to do with what Obama wants. The same with whether or not Gitmo closes or is relocated somewhere else under a new name... or any other major decision that is made during his presidency.

The script has already been written, before the actors were cast.

I just wish I could get my hands on a copy.
