Anyone who raises this kind of fuss over a yellow ribbon to support the troops can be branded an political opportunist of the sleaziest nature. The issue should be more than "what I think the ribbon means" politically and should be brought back down to the spirit of "we want our troops to return safely and this is how we will express it".
