Plus, there’s something creepily religious about the phrase “Born Again American” that appears to emphasize Barack Obama as their secular Messiah.

There's something annoying about having to read this crap over and over and over again.
Polls show 10% of our American population wouldn't vote for a black president. That means about 20% of McCain's vote was made up of racism.
That's 1 in 5.
Perhaps I should point that out each time somebody tries to bring up the "Messiah" junk or "you voted for him cause he's black" junk, Obama support opinions which nobody on this board supports.
I would wager that the ACTUAL "Messiah" Obama supporter segment is less than 10% of our population, so shouldn't we talk about the racism that helped the Republicans to get their vote even more than we harp on a less significant "Messiah" fixation?
Regardless, the words "appears to emphasize Barack Obama" are amusing.
site:www.bornagainamerican.org obama - Google Search
If you do a google search on the web-site, you'll find ONLY FOUR HITS for "Obama".
Two of those are in INDIVIDUAL "testimonials" added to the web-site by individual followers.
The other two I can't locate on the page that google says they are on. Perhaps google screwed up.
Yet again, people exaggerate the "Obama Messiah" aspect cause they can't deal with reality...
My interpretation, or at least how I see the web-site, is a return to America OF THE PEOPLE.
Bush pissed all over the opinion of the American populace.
Public wants us out of Iraq? Tough.
Public wants some form of legalized abortion? Tough.
Scooter Libby is convicted and Bush claims he wants to "get to the bottom"? Tough. Scooter is pardoned.
Public wants stem cell research? Tough.
Public wants ENDA? Tough.
Executive Privilege in every White House Stocking, regardless of whether or not the president was actually involved...
The list goes on and on. Bush catered to a select few in his presidency, and the rest of America was left out.
But hey. Why should the Republican party start listening to people now...
It's worked so well for them the last few years...

Yeah.
Cause it would be just plain crazy to try to listen TO THE OPINIONS OF PEOPLE WHO POSTED on that web-site in the first place...
Why listen to what OTHER people actually think, when you can listen to somebody TELLING you how they think that those people think...
