Finally watched the video and as I suspected, Campbell Brown's commentary is way off base.
There's nothing sexist or discriminatory about the comment. Napolitano
is perfect for the job because obviously Rendell believes it's a time consuming one and she has the ability to devote that time.
I'm a single father. I do everything I can right now to limit my travel / extra time at work I can and I understand that might mean others getting opportunities for advancement that might be less qualified than me because of that. It's reality.

There will always be a human element to unequal treatment. I actually believe most people try to treat others fairly based on their value to a company and not based on whether or not they have a new baby on the way or a family to feed. Obviously there are exceptions...
