I thought this was an interesting perspective, particularly on Hispanics and I did want to address it. In my experience, Hispanics are raised to thinking that being gay is a sin, immoral, etc. etc. While American Hispanics are usually forward thinking in terms of "live and let live", they draw the line at what they feel is the 'gay agenda' being pressed on them - in this instance through gay marriage. It is wrong and predjudiced, but not at all unexpected if you consider that gay men in Hispanic countries are still 'in the closet' - they are not prosecuted legally, but are persecuted socially.
