Mccain opposed the bill because it would WEAKEN our military but of course we don't need any strength there do we.

Simply put if there is NO incentive to stay you are a fool to stay. Just because the taxpayers spend billions "training" our military they just can't expect them to stay. By the way the GI bill was begun because of the DRAFT.
