If that is accurate, then I think people NEED to re-examine the "stand your ground" laws as I bet dollars to donuts a LOT of them would have different thoughts.

There was a defense attorney on another thread which commented that the "stand your ground" wouldn't cover this scenario where Zimmerman actively pursued Trayvon.
To me (and I think easily to a jury), "stand your ground" cannot be interpreted as "chase after the guy".

If the law would cover such a scenario, then it needs to be rewritten.
