I strongly support the Voter ID requirement. I've heard many weak objections made by opponents of this requirement and all of them are lame. While these VID laws vary from state to state,most states go to great lengths to ensure that no citizen is denied the right to vote! Some states will pay for the photo id and even send the photographer to your home. Other states who have the requirement will let you vote without identification but place your ballot on hold until your ID has been verified by a utility bill or other means of identification. Other states that have VID requirements will let voters vote without identification but you must permit them to take your picture at the time you vote.
I suspect the cases where people are truly "denied" the right to vote are few and far between.
