Submission rejected. Cultural integrity is not about fiscal support. Cultural integrity is about culture. If a culture has little to no value placed on fiscal matters, SUCH AS many/most Native American cultures, then the funding is culturally irrelevant as in it does not CHANGE the culture.
But you are correct, the forced isolation of the Jews created a cohesion within the community that only something like forced isolation can create. Without forced isolation, and indeed with cultural cleansing/forced integration (as occurred with Native Americans), the Jewish culture would have died out like minority cultures tend to do. Once lost, those cultures are gone forever. That is why there is a concept called "cultural genocide."
