Some (me included) happen to think we should think of the planet when we enact laws that will affect it, but most times people have to fight tooth and nail if they are even aware of a potential well tainting or draining of animal (even hunted animals) habitat.
All I hear is these damned environmentalists. Well I don't see any protection in places where pay offs can allow whatever a large developer or miner wants.
So how are environmentalists hurting anybody? They have such a small part in any change and usually are up against significant money.

Well, are we talking about real environmentalists who actually want to protect the environment for the benefit of living things, including humans?
Or, are we talking about the people who call themselves environmentalists, but who are really misanthropists who dislike human beings and want to limit them, who prefer insects fro instance, to people.
Or are we talking about Collectivists, who have discovered that labeling issues as "environmental concerns," is a great way to impede Capitalism at all levels.
Or are we talking about people who call themselves "environmentalists" and use so-called environmental legislation to enact property restrictions designed to keep the "wrong sort," away from their lavish properties?
