They came to Cain with the story. He had it for ten days and didn't respond. They gave him one last oppurtunity. He instead asked the reporter if he had ever been accused. He then pretended to have no idea about the story. Politico had other sources. In fact there is a guy who says Cain made overtures to one gal in the presence of him and others.
Cains story keeps developing and changing.

If you were a reporter and this story had come to you what would you do. I think they were fair. It is the job of the press to report the facts. Blaming them for the facts is always the course of those under fire and their supporters do the same.
