First of all. let me state VERY clearly that I think this piece of legislation has but one useful purpose - tiolet paper.

BUT - the idea that it opens the door to fully committing us to the United Nations Millennium Declaration is over-reacting. The only mention of the UNMD directly refers to it's poverty reduction goals, not anything else. So while the bill is a pure loser, the response to it is being overblown as well.
