Off the top (thought about it for 15 mins..lol) I would say whitey ford sings the blues....... everlast..... Not that he is the best or that the album was that spectacular but I liked every song & I think it has a lot of do w/ where I was @ back then....

Influence I would select Chuck Berry the great 28......... Chess records (home of Muddy, Wolf, Bo etc.......) Much of what became rock n roll can be traced back to songs on that one.........
