One doesn't have to be pressured by anyone or be in any certain group to believe a doctrine that no deity exists. One can have one's own personal religion if one so chooses.
To repeat myself, I do not follow a doctrine. That was the word you used as part b) definition of atheist.
There has never been a time when Ive read a book or talked to a non believer that has made me think." Thats what I believe!" I came to my own conclusion after many years of experiences.
I have no interest in nitpicking the meaning of words with you. If you wish to have your view of agnostic or atheist thats different to mine then so be it. The fact remains that I call myself an atheist because I have no belief in Christian or any other religion.
