What this guy said is NOT policy...It's his OPINION...he "expects" the pending troop deal to have some type of timetable...
But if you read on, you'll find no such timetables exist...
So the withdraw will NOT be set on times, but on conditions...
Which is what it should be...Bush's famous quote was "When the Iraqis stand up, we will stand down."...And that's EXACTLY the plan when they say "once Iraqi forces have resumed security responsibility in all 18 of Iraq's provinces, U.S.-led forces would then withdraw from all cities in the country."...
The title is misleading, the Associated Press sucks, and the public loses again...
